Settings which apply to categories of Vehicle Types

You can configure the RPM at which an "over RPM" event is recorded and available in various reports and assign different over RPM values to different vehicle groups within your fleet. Over RPM and Over Throttle is also included in Fuel Bonus report.

Vehicle type settings, along with descriptions of them, and guidelines for how to enter a value for each setting, are listed in the table below.

Configuration using the Web Portal

Adding New Group:

  1. Click “Add Group”
  2. Type in the name of the group in the “Name” field
  3. Choose the proper settings you would like to use for this group.
  4. Click “Save”

Copying Settings from an existing group settings:

  1. Select the group settings name from which you would like to copy the settings by clicking the corresponding name.
  2. Click “Copy.”
  3. Make any edits to the group as desired.
  4. Click “Save.”

Synchronizing Changes with Devices

Editing and saving the group will push the changes to the device.

Over RPM:

Value of highest RPM value allowed on this vehicle.

Value must be between 800 and 3000.

A value of 0 will disable this feature. 

Deceleration MPH Threshold:

The threshold for Deceleration (Hard Brake) in MPH/per second before which the vehicle will trigger the Deceleration event.

Value must be between 1 and 15 MPH.

A value of 0 will disable this feature.

1. Track engine time when RPM is present

2. Avoid reporting engine time malfunction
