Q: Does the DriverTech (ELD) unit have Anti-Virus software?
A: No. DriverTech does not have any virus software on the ELD because it is a closed system on an Embedded Windows platform. We take away all rights to access the core operating system files and secure capability to install any files or software on the units. This is why our units have never had a virus and believe it is not needed based on the security of the device.
