Q: What does a driver need to do when they see a diagnostic error?
A: Per FMCSA: When a driver sees a diagnostic error, they have 24 hours to call it in to their Safety department.
If this is a problem that results in something in the truck or ELD needing to be fixed, the company has 8 days to route the truck into the shop and fix the issue.
