  1. Deceleration Event- Based on the settings that the customer configures- usually 9MPH decrease over a 1 second period.
  2. Stability Event – Determines when a vehicle is rocking from side to side.
  3. Single press of the Red button while driving or parked.

These 3 triggers are based on the Industry Standard protocol: (distances for each truck manufacturer might be different)

  1. When the ABS is actuated.
  2. 'Distance Alert Signal' (#1) - Signal to indicate to the operator the ACC system is not able to maintain the distance to Target. Example stopping rapidly.
  3. 'Forward Collision Warning' (#3) - This parameter indicates if a collision is imminent and a strong driver reaction is imperative to prevent collision, either by braking hard or by an avoidance maneuver.
