- Plug and play installation- Unit (includes CPU and 7” display all-in-one enclosure) plugs into your JBUS connection- and display secures to dash with 4 screws- 20 minutes and driver and freight are ready to roll. Unit is encased with polycarbonate plastic- the most durable on the market- harkening back to DriverTech’s origin as a provider of mobile communication equipment to the U.S. Army. - Powerful Intel-based computing capabilities. Also Supports Android portable devices enabling workflow to be completed by a driver outside the cab. DT4000 supports both printing and scanning functions in cab.
- Two-way store and forward messaging allows dispatch to provide load information to the driver with Read Receipts and no message loss in the event of a cellular outage. Ability to send attachments such as detailed maps, proof of insurance certifications or medical cards. Integrates with third party Fleet Management Software products utilizing an extensive API (Applications Programs Interface) library. Messages can be read using text to speech while the truck is in motion.
