  1. Antenna Installation Quick Guide

Step-by-step guide

  1. Determine best location to mount antenna
    1. Passenger side or top center
    2. On trucks with a metal visor mount antenna a little lower (the metal will attenuate

      signal)

    3. Prior to installing antenna clean area with alcohol swab or Windex

    4. Remove protective backing from antenna adhesive

    5. Install antenna, 3.5” to 4” from windshield corners; hold in place for several seconds

     
  2. Antenna coax routing and management
    1. Route coax where it has the least chance of being damaged
    2. Excess coax should not be tightly coiled, this will cause signal degradation
    3. DO NOT TIGHTEN TRUCK PC COAX CONNECTORS WITH WRENCH OR PLIERS, HAND TIGHTEN ONLY
